Not just about rocks or sediment: Geology club spends summer exploring the outdoors

What does exploring caves, nature hikes, floating down the Yakima River for 16 miles, looking at the stars and planets, sand dune sledding, and feeding starving Air Force military personnel have to do with each other?  Two words: Geology Club.
